Hanjin wins deals worth US$300m
SEOUL : South Korea's Hanjin Heavy Industries said Monday it had
won shipbuilding orders worth more than US$300 million to build
five vessels for Swiss and German clients.
Hanjin Heavy Industries Co. said it had sealed a 243.6 billion
won ($201.7 million) deal to build three container ships for
Compania Naviera Maeva SA of Switzerland by 2005.
In a separate contract worth 162.4 billion won, Hanjin said it
is to construct two container ships for Kommanditgesellschaft
Vierte Oceanus Schiffahrts Gmbh Co. of Germany by 2005. --AFP
