Depok — The Nusa Mandiri Youth Choir (NMYC), the Student Activities Unit (UKM) at Nusa Mandiri University, formally held the handover of leadership for the 2026 term. This marks a new chapter in leadership under the elected chairperson, Naila Salsabila. The ceremony proceeded with solemnity and a spirit of togetherness, guided by the UKM mentor, Siti Masturoh.

The event was attended by the outgoing committee, incoming committee, members of NMYC, and invited guests, and served as a moment of organisational regeneration as well as a commitment to continue the work programmes and achievements attained in the previous period.

At UNM, known as the Digital Business Campus, the dynamics of student organisations such as NMYC demonstrate that the development of soft skills and leadership goes in tandem with digital-based academic excellence.

In her address, the elected chairperson of NMYC, Naila Salsabila, expressed her commitment to making the organisation more solid and high-achieving. “Thank you for the trust placed in me. I hope this year’s leadership can work together solidly, maintain cohesion, and continue to enhance the musical quality and achievements of the Nusa Mandiri Youth Choir,” she said in a press release on Tuesday, 3 March 2026.

The UKM supervisor, Siti Masturoh, praised the dedication of the previous management and emphasised the importance of professionalism in running an organisation. “This organisation is not only a platform for developing talents, but also a place to learn leadership, responsibility, and teamwork. Make every process a valuable learning experience,” she said.

She also urged the new leadership to boost creativity and expand collaboration networks, both within the campus and externally.

The handover marks a key milestone in strengthening NMYC’s vision as a hub for student interests and talents in choral singing. Not only focusing on vocal harmony, NMYC also aims to achieve accolades in various regional and national art competitions.

“With renewed spirit in 2026, Nusa Mandiri Youth Choir is optimistic it can continue to create, achieve, and bring honour to the institute’s name through solid collaboration and inspirational harmonisation,” she said.
