HAN 2026 Promotes 'Main Raya Anak Nusantara' Movement

The 2026 National Children’s Day (HAN) commemoration has launched the ‘Main Raya Anak Nusantara’ movement, focusing on fulfilling children’s right to play, providing safe spaces, and ensuring comprehensive protection for children throughout Indonesia. The peak event was held at Tugu Sirih in Tanjungpinang, Riau Islands, on Thursday. The event was attended by Selvi Ananda, wife of Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka, alongside Minister of Women’s Empowerment and Child Protection Arifah Fauzi. During the commemoration, children performed the Makyong Gurindam Berisalah art form and engaged in educational activities, including assembling walking robot prototypes.
