Hamas Calls for Iranian Solidarity, Urges Arab and Islamic Nations to Unite Against Zionist-US Aggression

Hamas, the Islamic Resistance Movement based in Gaza, Palestine, has condemned what it characterises as aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran perpetrated by Zionist Israel in coordination with the United States.

Through a statement released via Telegram, Hamas called for unity among Arab and Islamic nations to collectively oppose and resist this aggression.

The movement stated that the attacks on Iran, carried out jointly by the US and Israeli forces, represent a sinister objective with consequences for altering the geopolitical map in a manner detrimental to Arab and Islamic unity.

“The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) strongly condemns aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran, and against any Arab or Islamic nation,” the statement read, according to Almayadeen.

“We affirm that this Israeli-American aggression constitutes a direct targeting of the entire region, and a direct assault on security, stability, and sovereignty,” it continued.

Hamas expressed its support for Iran and expressed hope that Arab nations in the region, as well as Islamic states worldwide, would take similar positions in supporting Iran.

“We call upon the Arab and Islamic peoples to unite and stand together to thwart and resist this aggression,” the statement added.

Hamas warned that the Zionist-US aggression against Iran is designed to facilitate Israel’s agenda for territorial expansion.

“This aggression aims to reshape the regional map in accordance with the aspirations of the occupiers to establish a Greater Israel at the expense of Arab and Islamic peoples,” concluded the statement.
