Halalbihalal at Jakarta Palace Opened After Zuhr Prayer Until Evening

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto held a halalbihalal event at the Palace Complex in Jakarta on Saturday afternoon (21/3/2026). The Palace is open to the public who wish to attend the halalbihalal event starting from 12.00 WIB. “Of course, it will be open from 12 o’clock, perhaps until Maghrib, with the public taking turns, possibly with their families, to visit during Eid al-Fitr; if they want to drop by the Palace with one family, they are welcome,” said Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya in a YouTube broadcast by the Presidential Secretariat in Jakarta. According to Teddy, the Palace will serve typical Eid al-Fitr dishes during the halalbihalal event held from afternoon until evening. “Like last year, for the people, the palace is open for the people; various kinds of food will be prepared, and a little entertainment for the children, something like that,” he said. The Palace will prepare a staggered visit scheme so that the public can enter the Palace comfortably. “We open after Zuhr prayer. Maybe at 12, 1 o’clock. Please. (Capacity) Yes, around 5,000 perhaps like last year,” he said.
