Halal certification for hospitals in spotlight at health conference

The application of halal certification in the hospital sector became a focal point at the 6th International Islamic Healthcare Conference and Expo in Tangerang, Banten, on Wednesday (6/5). Deputy Minister of Health Dante Saksono Harbuwono stated that the need for halal services and products in the health sector continues to increase. Halal certification is considered important to implement in both government and private hospitals. The halal concept is also said to cover aspects of quality and safety in healthcare services.
