It was previously reported that the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) scheduled the examination of the owner of the hajj travel agency PT Zahra Oto Mandiri, also known as Uhud Tour, Khalid Zeed Abdullah Basalamah, for today, Thursday, 23 April 2026.
KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo stated that the examination of Khalid Basalamah is related to the corruption case involving hajj quotas.
“In the continuation of the hajj quota investigation, it is true that today the investigators have scheduled (the examination of) Mr KB, one of the related parties,” said Budi to journalists at the KPK’s Merah Putih Building.
Budi explained that the examination of the travel agency or the related party is needed by the investigators to further explore how the process of buying, selling, or filling the hajj pilgrimage quotas takes place.

“We are confident that the witness will be cooperative in attending the summons and providing the necessary testimony,” he clarified.
