Hajj Pilgrims' Repatriation Schedule to Indonesia Begins 1 June 2026
The culmination of the 2026 Hajj pilgrimage in Arafah, Muzdalifah, and Mina (Armuzna) officially concluded on 13 Zulhijjah 1447 AH, or 30 May 2026. Following the completion of the rituals, Saudi Hajj Service Officers (PPIH) have begun preparing for the repatriation of Indonesian pilgrims, scheduled to commence on 1 June 2026.
The repatriation will occur in two waves. The first batch departs via Jeddah Airport between 1 and 15 June 2026, while the second wave is scheduled to depart from Medina Airport between 7 and 30 June 2026.
“The first cohort from Indonesia departs on 22 April 2026. Ideally, they will be the first group to return on 1 June,” said Dendi, speaking to the Hajj Media Centre team in Mina on Friday, 29 May 2026.
He added that the departure schedule serves as the primary reference for operational planning. However, Dendi noted that adjustments may still be made based on field conditions, though changes are expected to be minimal, not exceeding 20%.
The 2026 Hajj schedule is outlined in Ministerial Decree No. 7 of 2025 issued by the Indonesian Ministry of Hajj and Umrah. The first repatriation wave is set to begin on 1 June 2026, with the second wave starting on 16 June 2026.
