Hajj Pilgrims Can Communicate with Scholars Through Digital Channels in Masjidil Haram
REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, MAKKAH – The Head of the Presidency of Religious Affairs at Masjid Haram and Masjid Nabawi, Sheikh Abdurrahman As Sudais, has inaugurated a cloud-based communication system. This is to answer questions from visitors at Masjidil Haram. The programme is part of the presidency’s efforts to enhance digital transformation and improve the quality of religious services provided to visitors at the Two Holy Mosques. Sheikh Sudais stated that the system is an integrated technological framework that enhances flexible and efficient call handling. The system directs calls to the personal phones of the sheikhs, thereby reducing the need for them to be at specific locations and alleviating congestion inside Masjidil Haram. This also improves the worship experience for the pilgrims. He explained that the system uses a precise mechanism to manage and distribute calls, ensuring quick responses and accurate transfers. The system also allows calls to be forwarded to offices inside Masjidil Haram that handle questions.
