A total of 444 Hajj pilgrims from the KJT-08 cohort of Kuningan Regency have returned to the homeland. Meanwhile, one pilgrim from the same group was unable to return as they are still undergoing medical treatment in a hospital in Saudi Arabia.

The KJT-08 cohort from Kuningan Regency arrived at the At-Taufiq Kuningan Islamic Centre, Jalan Dr. Ir. Soekarno, on Sunday (7/6/2026). Hundreds of family members crowded the mosque area to welcome the pilgrims, who had spent more than a month performing the fifth pillar of Islam in the Holy Land.

As the bus carrying the group of pilgrims arrived, the atmosphere instantly became emotional. Tears of joy broke out as the pilgrims reunited with their beloved families in good health and safety.

The Chairperson of the KJT-08 Kuningan Regency cohort, Nunung Nurhayati, explained that, in general, the entire return journey proceeded smoothly. She also expressed gratitude for the prayers and support from the government and the people of Kuningan Regency.

“Alhamdulillah, out of a total of 445 pilgrims and officials, 444 people were able to return to the homeland together in good health,” she said.
