Shares of PT Bayan Resources Tbk (BYAN) were observed to have plummeted 5.02% to the level of Rp12,775 per share at 10:00 WIB during trading on Wednesday (7/10/2026). The decline in shares of the company owned by conglomerate Low Tuck Kwong occurred following information regarding an increase in share ownership by PT Jhonlin Baratama, owned by Andi Syamsuddin Arsyad, also known as Haji Isam.

BYAN shares opened in the range of Rp13,450 and briefly strengthened sharply, touching the Rp14,250 area shortly after the opening. However, this strengthening did not last long. Selling pressure began to emerge, and the price moved downwards gradually throughout the morning. Towards 10:00 WIB, the price touched the range of Rp12,800 to Rp12,900, approaching the lowest level of the trading session.

In terms of trading activity, the transaction volume was recorded at 3.32 million shares, while the average daily volume stood at the level of 1.96 million shares.

Nevertheless, the management has ensured that the transaction does not cause any material negative impact that could disrupt the company’s operational activities or business continuity.

This report is a follow-up to previous information disclosure regarding the signing of PJBS Number 466/BR-OJK/IX/2026 dated 17 September 2026.

Based on the notification letter received by BYAN, Dato’ Low Tuck Kwong and Elaine Low signed the PJBS on 16 September 2026 with PT Jhonlin Baratama acting as the buyer. Subsequently, the Company received a follow-up notification letter dated 5 October 2026, stating that Dato’ Low Tuck Kwong and Elaine Low, together with the buyer, signed an amendment to the PJBS on 1 October 2026.
