Haji Isam Buys PACK Shares Worth Rp 936 Billion, Stock Price Soars
JAKARTA - Coal entrepreneur from South Kalimantan, Samsudin Andi Arsyad alias Haji Isam, has entered the nickel issuer PT Abadi Nusantara Hijau Investama Tbk (PACK). He purchased PACK shares worth Rp 936 billion. This action immediately triggered a surge in PACK’s share price by up to 9.86% during trading on Wednesday (13/5/2026). Based on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) disclosure, Haji Isam bought 6.83 billion PACK shares at a transaction price of Rp 137 per share. Haji Isam’s entry now gives him a 21.12% shareholding in PACK. Previously, he was recorded as not owning any shares in the company. The purpose of the transaction is for investment, classified as ordinary share ownership. Throughout the trading session, the shares of this nickel mining and trading issuer moved steadily in the green zone after opening at Rp 282 per share. PACK has undergone a major business transformation after previously being known as a packaging industry company under the name PT Solusi Kemasan Digital Tbk. Based on the company profile, the entity was established on 8 November 2019 and initially operated in the retail trade of plastic packaging, plastic packaging industry, commercial digital platforms, and general printing industry. The company also conducted business in manufacturing plastic packaging for various needs, from cosmetic packaging, medicines, food, to flexible packaging for the digital printing industry. However, after being acquired by new owners, PACK began changing its business direction and now focuses on becoming a holding company operating in the nickel mining and trading sector. This business direction change has also attracted market attention, especially after national entrepreneur Samsudin Andi Arsyad alias Haji Isam entered as a new shareholder of the company. In addition, there are several other institutional and individual investors such as Providentia Wealth Management with 5.41% ownership, DBS Bank at 3.91%, and UOB Kay Hian Private at 2.49%. Meanwhile, other individual investors like Po Susanto and Haristo each hold around 1.16% of the company’s shares.
