BANDUNG: About 200 Democratic Catholics' Party (PKD) activists
capped their campaigning here on Saturday by walking 15
kilometers around town and handing out 1,000 combs to bystanders.
They said the comb symbolized their hope for an Indonesian
society which was more organized, peaceful, fair and just.
During the four-hour tour, they encountered the campaigning
activists of National Mandate Party (PAN). Supporters of the two
parties exchanged leaflets and PKD also offered combs to their
counterparts.
PKD has declared itself an open party and at least two of its
legislative candidates from West Java are Muslims, Antara
reported.
