Habiburokhman Urges TNI, Polri, and AGO to Remain Solid After Corruption Case Implicates Febrie Adriansyah

House of Representatives Commission III Chairman Habiburokhman has reminded all law enforcement and state security institutions to maintain their solidity amid the legal process for alleged corruption and money laundering involving former Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes, Febrie Adriansyah. According to Habiburokhman, a case involving an individual must not cause friction or disrupt synergy between law enforcement agencies. He therefore urged the Indonesian National Armed Forces, the National Police, and the Attorney General’s Office to remain united in carrying out their anti-corruption duties. “Commission III of the House of Representatives firmly reminds all state security and law enforcement institutions, from the National Police and the Attorney General’s Office to the Indonesian National Armed Forces, to remain solid, united, and in close synergy,” Habiburokhman said on Sunday, 12 July 2026. He emphasised that all law enforcement institutions must share a common vision in supporting the administration of President Prabowo Subianto, particularly in efforts to eradicate corruption. He assessed that the government’s commitment to eradicating corruption requires full support from all law enforcement officers so that the legal process can run effectively without being influenced by other interests. “All these law enforcement institutions must share one vision in making President Prabowo Subianto’s programmes a success, as he is firmly and uncompromisingly committed to eradicating corruption in the country,” he stated. The statement was made in response to public attention on the alleged corruption and money laundering case involving Febrie Adriansyah. National Police Headquarters had previously named Febrie Adriansyah a suspect in a case of alleged corruption and money laundering related to the handling of a coal corruption case, the PT ASABRI case, and other corruption cases. Amid the legal process, Febrie decided to resign from his position as Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes. The decision was confirmed by the Attorney General’s Office through its Head of Legal Information Centre, Anang Supriatna. According to Anang, Febrie’s resignation letter was received directly by Attorney General ST Burhanuddin on Saturday, 11 July 2026.
