Habiburokhman shocked and saddened by the death of Haerul Saleh

Jakarta (ANTARA) - Chairman of DPR RI Commission III, Habiburokhman, admitted to being shocked while conveying his condolences over the passing of Member IV of the Financial Audit Board (BPK), Haerul Saleh, on Friday.

According to him, Haerul Saleh was one of his friends, particularly within the Gerindra Party circle. He regarded Haerul Saleh as an intelligent figure.

“He was one of my close friends. Before the 2014 Election, we shared a room during Gerindra’s cadre training,” said Habiburokhman in Jakarta on Friday.

He conveyed that Haerul Saleh was a good person who passed away at a relatively young age of 43.

“We pray that he attains a good end, is forgiven all his sins, his deeds of worship are accepted, and he receives the best place by the side of Allah SWT,” he said.

Previously, Member IV of the Financial Audit Board (BPK) of the Republic of Indonesia, Haerul Saleh, was reported to have died following a fire disaster at his home. This was also reported by Agriculture Minister Andi Amran Sulaiman.

The late Haerul Saleh was taken to Pasar Minggu General Hospital (RSUD), Jakarta. The fire at Haerul’s residence in the Tanjung Barat area occurred on Friday morning.

Dozens of fire engines were also deployed to address the disaster.
