JAKARTA — The volume of vehicles leaving Jakarta through the Mohammed Bin Zayed (MBZ) elevated toll road experienced a significant surge ahead of the 2026 Lebaran exodus.

PT Jasamarga Jalanlayang Cikampek (JJC) recorded that on H-5 Idulfitri 1447 Hijri or Monday, 16 March 2026, the number of vehicles heading towards Cikampek reached 44,075 units. This figure increased by 101.33 percent compared to normal traffic conditions of 21,892 vehicles.

Meanwhile, the flow of vehicles heading towards Jakarta also experienced an increase. A total of 29,796 vehicles were recorded passing through, or up 26.01 percent compared to the normal volume of 23,646 vehicles.

To support the smooth flow of travel, PT JJC urged road users to prioritise safety while driving. Drivers were asked to ensure their physical condition was in good shape, and that their vehicles were in roadworthy condition.

Current information about toll road traffic can be accessed through the 24-hour One Call Centre service at number 133, the official Twitter account of Jasa Marga, and the Travoy application available on iOS and Android devices.
