H-4 Before Eid, 1.3 Million Vehicles Pass Through Regional Nusantara Toll Roads
Jasamarga, through its Jasamarga Nusantara Tollroad Regional Division (JNT/Regional Nusantara), recorded an increase in traffic volume on five Regional Nusantara toll roads from H-10 to H-4 before Eid 2026, or 11-17 March 2026. Overall, the total traffic volume during the 2026 Eid homecoming period was recorded at 1,311,659 vehicles.
“That number increased by 2.85% from the normal total traffic volume of 1,275,366 vehicles,” said Senior General Manager of Jasamarga Nusantara Tollroad Regional Division, Tyas Pramoda Wardhani, in an official statement on Wednesday (18/3).
The breakdown of traffic volume on the five Regional Nusantara toll roads up to H-4 of Eid al-Fitr 1447H/2026 is as follows: for the Belawan-Medan-Tanjung Morawa Toll Road, the traffic volume was 586,770 vehicles, or an increase of 1.66% from the normal total of 577,165 vehicles.
“From that traffic, 151,890 vehicles left Medan City through the Amplas Toll Gate (GT),” she explained.
That figure increased by 6.55% compared to the normal total traffic volume of 142,554 vehicles. Meanwhile, 138,751 vehicles headed to Medan City through GT Amplas, an increase of 2.66% compared to normal, which was 135,161 vehicles.
Then, on the Medan-Kualanamu-Tebing Tinggi Toll Road, 116,878 vehicles were recorded passing through. That number increased by 10.27% compared to the normal total traffic volume of 105,991 vehicles.
Based on the data, 37,504 vehicles were recorded entering from GT Kualanamu coming from the direction of Kualanamu International Airport. That figure is 13.52% higher than the normal total traffic volume passing through GT Kualanamu, which was 33,037 vehicles. Meanwhile, 40,126 vehicles were recorded heading to Kualanamu International Airport through GT Kualanamu, an increase of 13.38% compared to the normal total traffic volume of 35,390 vehicles.
Next, the vehicle volume on the Balikpapan-Samarinda Toll Road was 83,158 vehicles, or an increase of 13.17% from the normal traffic volume of 73,479 vehicles.
For the Manado-Bitung Toll Road, the traffic volume was 52,024 vehicles, or an increase of 13.06% compared to the normal traffic volume of 46,015 vehicles.
On the Solo-Yogyakarta NYIA Kulon Progo Kartasura-Prambanan Segment Toll Road, the total traffic volume was 111,507 vehicles, or an increase of 18.05% from the normal total traffic volume of 94,458 vehicles.
“53,611 vehicles were recorded heading to Yogyakarta through GT Prambanan. This figure increased by 11.01% compared to normal, which was 48,296 vehicles,” said Tyas.
Jasamarga advises toll road users to anticipate the Eid holiday travel period 2026 well. Before entering the toll road, ensure the vehicle and driver are in prime condition, ensure sufficient fuel and e-money balance, and comply with signs and instructions from on-site officers. (H-3)
