Transjakarta spokesperson, Luky, stated that the number of bus passengers on Monday was about twice as many as on a normal day. “There have been many people queuing to board the bus since the morning. Approximately twice as many as on a normal day,” he said at the Botani Square bus stop in Bogor on Monday. According to him, similar conditions occurred on the two previous days. One of the passengers, Asri (68), is among those who frequently use the P11 fleet because of its cheap fare of Rp3,500. She said that usually, the bus would depart immediately once all seats are filled. However, this time, she found that the bus departed according to the schedule. Asri said she waited about 15 minutes for the bus to depart. “Usually, it departs right away. But this time, I boarded at 10:50, and the bus departed at 11:12,” she said, adding that she would alight at Pancoran Stop to continue her journey to Ciledug. The bus she took that afternoon carried about 45 passengers, most of whom were standing. The 111.72 km route passes through stops including shopping areas such as Mall Belanova Sentul, Cibubur Junction, and Pasar Santa. The travel time for this route from Bogor to Blok M can take around 1.5 hours if traffic conditions are smooth, as they were on Monday. According to the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, the P11 route is one of the favourites among the public. Data for 2025 shows the number of passengers on this route per day (excluding holidays) is around 5,554 people and 166,630 people per month. On Monday, the Transjabodetabek fare was normal as usual, namely Rp3,500, differing from Eid when a fare of Rp1 (free) was applied. “(The fare is) normal,” said the Head of the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency, Syafrin Liputo.
