GWM Ora 5 Touring revealed with longer dimensions than standard variant
The appearance of the GWM Ora 5 Touring electric SUV has been revealed through documents from China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT). According to a report from Drive on Sunday (16/8) local time, the Ora 5 Touring features a wagon-like design and is longer than the standard Ora 5 variant. The Ora 5 Touring is positioned in the mid-size electric SUV segment.
Based on MIIT images and data, the Ora 5 Touring has a rear design that differs from the standard Ora 5. The rear section is made longer with a larger D-pillar and new tail lights connected by a full-width light bar.
For comparison, the Ora 5 Touring is 143 mm longer and 40 mm lower than the Geely EX5. Compared to the BYD Seal 6 Touring plug-in hybrid version, the GWM model is 82 mm shorter but 125 mm taller.
In Australia, the Ora 5 Touring is expected to be priced close to A$40,000, equivalent to approximately Rp508 million.
