GWM Indonesia Sales Top 1,000 Units by April 2026

JAKARTA - GWM Indonesia has recorded significant sales growth from January to April 2026.

According to company data, GWM’s wholesale sales increased by 206% compared to the same period last year. Retail sales grew by 261%.

“From January to April 2026, we have recorded total wholesale sales of 1,127 units and retail sales of 1,053 units, representing a more than 200% increase in wholesale and 261% in retail,” said Thio.

Thio attributed the achievement to three main product lines that have received positive market response in Indonesia. The largest contributor is the GWM Tank 300, accounting for over 40% of GWM Indonesia’s total sales. Meanwhile, the Tank 500 contributed approximately 32% to overall sales.

“Sales are supported by three product lines that have received positive consumer reception in Indonesia. The Tank 300 accounts for over 40% of sales, followed by the Tank 500 at 32% and the Ora at 18%,” Thio added.

In addition to sales growth, GWM Indonesia is expanding its dealer network to support sales and after-sales services. The company currently has 19 dealers spread across various regions in Indonesia. This number is targeted to increase to 25 dealers by the end of 2026.
