Gus Par Transfers 65 Officials in Karangasem Regency
Regent of Karangasem I Gusti Putu Parwata (Gus Par) has carried out transfers of 65 officials within the Karangasem Regency Government (Pemkab). The dozens of officials consist of three high-level leadership positions (JPT), 25 administrative officials, and 37 supervisory officials.
The inauguration and oath-taking of the 65 Pemkab Karangasem officials was held at Wantilan Sabha Prakerthi, Karangasem Regent’s Office, on Tuesday (31/3/2026). In his address, Gus Par stated that the official transfers aim to refresh the organisation.
“This is not merely a ceremonial activity, but rather an important momentum to strengthen commitment and responsibility in carrying out the assigned duties,” said Gus Par.
Gus Par emphasised that the transfers are an effort to improve bureaucratic performance to be more optimal in providing services to the public. He reminded all inaugurated officials to maintain integrity, dedication, and professionalism in undertaking their new roles.
According to Gus Par, government management must be built with an orientation towards public service and not merely administrative. “Collaboration and synergy with all stakeholders is also one of the keys to running the wheels of government in the future,” he added.
On that occasion, Gus Par also reminded all newly inaugurated officials to create a harmonious, productive, and conducive work environment. This includes behaving democratically and humanely, as well as encouraging improvements in staff and organisational performance.
“I also remind all newly inaugurated officials to always work meticulously and not neglect administrative matters to avoid potential legal problems in the future,” explained Gus Par.
