Gus Ipul and Juri Ardiantoro Appointed as Vice Chairmen of PBNU

The Executive Board of Nahdlatul Ulama (PBNU) has announced the names of the organisational structure for the 2026-2031 period. Social Minister Saifullah Yusuf, also known as Gus Ipul, and Deputy State Secretary Juri Ardiintoro have been appointed as Vice Chairmen of PBNU.

“The Vice Chairmen are Drs. H. Saifullah Yusuf, K.H. Muhammad Faiz Syukron, Prof. H. Ghufron Ali Ph.D., Dr. Ir. H. Muhammad Lukman Edy, K.H. Abdul Ghoffar Rozin, Dr. H. Juri Ardiantoro, and H. Irfan Asy’ari Sudirman Wahid,” stated PBNU Katib Aam Mohammad Nuh, while reading the announcement of the PBNU management at the PBNU building, Central Jakarta, on Wednesday (30/09/2026).

Meanwhile, Gudfan Arif, or Gus Gudfan, has been appointed as Secretary General, while the position of General Treasurer will be held by Ainun Na’im.

“The Secretary General is Haji Gudfan Arif, S.IP, also known as Gus Gudfan,” he added.

The 10th and 12th Vice President, Jusuf Kalla, has also joined the management as part of the advisory board, known as Mustasyar. The position of Mustasyar will also be held by the 13th Vice President, KH Ma’ruf Amin.

“The Mustasyar members are KH Ahmad Mustofa Bisri, Prof. Dr. KH. Ma’ruf Amin, and H. Muhammad Jusuf Kalla,” he noted.

Overall, PBNU has appointed 210 individuals to its organisational structure. The Chairman of PBNU, Abdul Hakim Mahfudz, also known as Gus Kikin, stated that this expansion is intended to ensure equitable representation.

“As a result of the Muktamar in Lampung, the initial management consisted of 189 people, but the total has now increased to 210. This is an increase of 21 people, which is intended to achieve greater distribution,” said Gus Kikin in his address.
