Amid differences, we are united by shared values: forgiving one another, supporting each other, and protecting one another as a single nation,” said Gus Imin in a press release received in Jakarta on Saturday.

According to Gus Imin, forgiving one another is one way to nurture national unity. With a shared spirit of unity, he believes all parties will have the same enthusiasm in building the nation.

Gus Muhaimin also emphasised the importance of social solidarity, particularly in helping those in need.

“The spirit of Ramadan must not end on the day of celebration. Rather, on Eid al-Fitr, solidarity must become even more evident—present in care for neighbours, attention to the vulnerable, and mutual cooperation in daily life,” he continued.

Furthermore, the Coordinating Minister for Community Empowerment invited all elements of the nation to make Eid al-Fitr the starting point for community empowerment, especially in facing economic and social challenges.

Gus Muhaimin hopes that the spirit of Eid al-Fitr can become the nation’s collective energy to move forward more strongly, united, and empowered in facing the future.

“Empowerment is the key. We want the community to rise together, strengthening family economies, supporting small businesses, and opening opportunities for one another. From there, we can realise social justice,” he stated.

On behalf of himself and the entire PKB family, he conveyed prayers and best wishes to all Indonesian people.

“I, Muhaimin Iskandar, General Chairman of the PKB Central Executive Board, on behalf of myself and the entire PKB family, extend taqabbalallahu minna wa minkum, taqabbal ya karim. Happy Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijriah, minal aidin wal faizin, please forgive me physically and spiritually,” he said.

He also sent warm greetings to all people to maintain family ties, especially during the Eid exodus.

“Do not forget to convey my respects and love to all family members wherever they are, across the entire archipelago,” he concluded.
