Guinness offers scholarships

JAKARTA (JP): Guinness Brewing Worldwide and the United
Kingdom's Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) are offering to
sponsor Indonesians to pursue a full-time Master's degree
scholarship at the University of Leeds in Britain.

The scholarship will enable the successful candidates to
choose between a one year degree course in communication studies,
development studies, economics, finance, industrial and labor
studies, modern international studies, politics of international
resources and development and sociology. It will be awarded for
the academic year starting September 1995.

The scholarship will cover all tuition fees, offer a monthly
sum for living expenses, an arrival and departure allowance and
an economy class return air ticket. An allowance will also be
given towards payment for books and equipment. (als)
