Guide to Checking Social Assistance Recipient Names for July 2026 and Disbursement Schedule
The government will continue the distribution of social assistance (bansos) in July 2026. As before, not all Indonesian citizens are entitled to receive bansos. The basis for providing social assistance is the decile listed in the National Socio-Economic Single Data (DTSEN). Deciles divide the population into 10 groups based on welfare levels. Each decile category has its own priority for social assistance. For example, the Family Hope Programme (PKH) is focused on communities in deciles 1 to 4, while the Sembako Programme, formerly known as Non-Cash Food Assistance (BPNT), is provided for deciles 1 to 5.
Here is a guide to checking recipient names through the official channels of the Ministry of Social Affairs. Recipient names for July 2026 bansos can be checked via the official Ministry of Social Affairs website or the Cek Bansos application.
To check via the Ministry of Social Affairs website, open the Cek Bansos page at https://cekbansos.kemensos.go.id. Enter your 16-digit National Identity Number (NIK) as it appears on your Identity Card (KTP). Input the captcha code in the provided field and click ‘Cari Data’. The system will display your name, decile, and recipient status for three types of social assistance: the Sembako Programme, PKH, and PBI-Jaminan Kesehatan (JK).
To check via the Cek Bansos application, download it from the Play Store or App Store. Select the ‘Cek Bansos’ menu, enter your NIK, and click ‘Cari Data’. Your name and decile level will be displayed. A list of social assistance programmes received or not received can be viewed at the bottom, covering the Sembako Programme, PKH, PBI-JK, BLTS, Permakanan, and Bantuan Yatim Piatu.
Several social assistance programmes are scheduled for disbursement in July 2026. The Family Hope Programme (PKH) has been distributed since 2007 and aims to improve living standards, reduce expenditure burdens, and create self-reliance. It targets various categories, including pregnant women and students, with annual amounts such as Rp 3,000,000 for pregnant women and children aged 0-6, Rp 900,000 for primary school students, and Rp 2,000,000 for senior high school students. PKH is disbursed every three months, making July the first month of the third term for 2026.
The Sembako Programme/BPNT aims to help poor and vulnerable families meet their food needs, providing Rp 200,000 per Beneficiary Family (KPM) per month. Disbursement occurs every two or three months via banks and postal services. The government will also begin distributing 10 kilograms of rice per KPM under the Bantuan Pangan Beras programme in July 2026, targeting approximately 33.2 million KPM across three distribution phases.
The Indonesia Pintar Programme (PIP) provides cash assistance and expanded access to education for students from poor or vulnerable families. Disbursement for the first phase runs from January to July, with amounts varying by education level. PBI-Jaminan Kesehatan (PBI-JK) participants receive their BPJS Kesehatan premiums fully paid by the government, ensuring active membership and access to healthcare services, rather than receiving cash or staple goods directly.
