Guest Steals 3 TVs from 3 Different Rooms at Bandung Hotel

A theft allegedly committed by a hotel guest occurred in Bandung, West Java. The guest is suspected of making off with three television units from three rooms he rented at a hotel in Pasirkoja, Babakan Ciparay District, Bandung City, West Java.

Babakan Ciparay Police Chief Commissioner Kurniawan said the Criminal Investigation Unit of Babakan Ciparay Police had checked the crime scene at Hotel WYNS on Jalan Soekarno-Hatta on Tuesday (18/8). It is known that the perpetrator arrived on Sunday (16/8) and left on Monday (17/8).

“According to the statement of the complainant with the initials SJM, as seen from CCTV footage, the perpetrator initially arrived on Sunday, 16 August 2026 at around 16.30 WIB to check in at Hotel WYNS. Then at around 19.30 WIB, the perpetrator left room number 501 carrying a television in a large bag towards the hotel vehicle parking area,” said Kurniawan.

On Monday (17/8) at around 17.30 WIB, the perpetrator checked in again. He then took a TV from another room.

“The perpetrator came to Hotel WYNS to check in again and entered hotel room number 511. After that, at around 18.30 WIB, the perpetrator left the hotel room carrying a television in a large bag and headed to the vehicle parking area,” he said.

Police are still investigating the case. The perpetrator is also still being pursued.
