Guess What? Sofyan Wanandi
"I'm stressed. My blood pressure is going up," Sofyan Wanandi, the boss of the Gemala group, grumbled.
He told The Jakarta Post that leading a conglomerate put him under great pressure. He didn't share his problems, but did explain how he copes with stress.
"I do a lot of sports. I go to Puncak (a resort area an hour outside Jakarta) or I go overseas," Wanandi explained, who likes swimming, as well as golf and tennis.
He also loves movies, which he watches for fun on his VCR. Action movies are his favorite.
"I don't care who wins or loses. I don't care who the artists are, either. I just enjoy watching them fight," he said.
This doesn't mean that Wanandi doesn't like other types of films. He saw Forrest Gump, and says it was one of the best movies he had ever seen.
Forrest Gump won Academy Awards for best picture, best actor, best director, best screen play adaption, best editing and best visual effects.
"It was a great movie. A human interest story about a half- stupid man who could do great things," Wanandi explained.
He said he was touched by the scene addressing drug problems and the relation between Gump and the woman he loved.
"And there was action in the movie, too, the war in Vietnam," Wanandi revealed. (sim)
