Guess What? Peggy Melati Sukma

In a discussion on beautiful and sexy women in the eyes of men at the Hotel Mulia Senayan in Central Jakarta on Friday, Ultima II cosmetics beauty consultant Peggy Melati Sukma spoke of her ideas on the importance of skincare.

The waif-looker sinetron (TV series) artist advised that women should stop bothering about skyrocketing prices of sembako (basic commodities).

"Even if the price of rice shoots up to Rp 100,000/kg, why should we worry too much? If you look bad thinking of sembako, you might drive your husbands away to look for different "basic needs" (women)..." Peggy said.

The 22-year-old later described how she learnt about different kinds of eye makeup in the sinetron business. She added that for vamp roles, she was required to wear flashy eye makeup.

She said that she usually used baby pink-colored eye makeup with glitter for such roles so that every time she blinked, they would "attract guys." A woman in the audience asked Peggy sarcastically how such a young girl like her (Peggy) acquired maturity, and Peggy nailed a verbal death-knell to a satirical joke. "You see, I was put in this pot, they heated it and I came out mature." (ylt)
