Guess What? Dewi Motik Pramono
Dewi Motik Pramono, a prominent Indonesian businesswomen, pledges she will stay a flirt forever.
She underlined the debatable need to be flirtatious during a lecture held by Nusabank Friday in observance of R.A. Kartini, an Indonesian heroine involved in the emancipation of women.
Arif Rahman, an expert in education, first brought up the issue of flirting.
He criticized career women who had lost their femininity and acted like men, saying that it was necessary for women to be feminine, delicate and a flirt.
"Career women should not loose their coquetry," he said.
"As for Ibu Dewi Motik, I'm sure she still has it," Arif added.
"Forever," Dewi responded immediately.
Does her success in the business world have something to do with flirting?
Dewi believes that cooperation is the key to success.
She warned career women not to confront men, especially their husbands.
"Husbands are heads of the family, we are the queens, the aide (pendamping) of the kings. Remember where the position of the head, it is at the top," she claimed.
This, however, does not necessarily mean that men can control women. Women are able to do whatever they want to men if they know how, according to Dewi.
"The world is created for men. But if you can handle men, you can handle the world. You can make them your toys," she asserted.
