GRIB Jaya Denies Abduction and Hostage-Taking of Ahmad Bahar’s Daughter, with RW Chief Present
JAKARTA, KOMPAS.COM - GRIB Jaya has rejected allegations that it abducted and held F (33), the daughter of author Ahmad Bahar, when she was brought to the GRIB Jaya headquarters in Kedoya, West Jakarta.
Public Relations and Publications Head of DPP GRIB Jaya, Marselinus Gual, stressed that the arrival of GRIB members at Ahmad Bahar’s house was conducted openly and in the presence of local authorities.
“Narasi bahwa rumah Ahmad Bahar digerebek secara ilegal atau anaknya dibawa paksa (diculik) adalah kebohongan publik yang sangat tidak mendasar,” Marselinus said in a written statement on Thursday (21 May 2026).
“Tindakan premanisme atau penculikan tidak mungkin melibatkan aparatur lingkungan dan aparat penegak hukum,” he added.
GRIB Jaya also denied the claim of hostage-taking against F while at the DPP GRIB Jaya office. He stated that the accusations of intimidation and hostage-taking presented by Ahmad Bahar’s side were a dramatization to seek public sympathy.
“ Klaim mengenai adanya tekanan verbal sepihak atau anak Ahmad Bahar disandera di dalam ruangan tertutup sepenuhnya merupakan dramatisasi untuk mencari simpati publik,” he said.
According to Marselinus, F’s WhatsApp number contacted the personal number of Mrs Hercules and sent a threat signal.
“Ada fakta hukum yang tidak bisa dibantah, yaitu handphone milik anak Ahmad Bahar itu dipakai untuk mengirimkan video provokasi dan ancaman langsung ke nomor pribadi istrinya Pak Hercules,” he said.
“Konten kebencian yang diproduksi Ahmad Bahar tidak hanya menyerang figur Pak Hercules secara personal, tetapi juga menyasar ranah domestik dengan melakukan doxing terhadap istri Pak Hercules,” he added.
In addition, GRIB Jaya stated that the dispute between Ahmad Bahar and Hercules had already been resolved through mediation at Depok Metro Police.
