Green SM Taxi Driver to be Examined on Thursday in Bekasi KRL Case, Involving Polri's Forensic Lab

JAKARTA - The driver of the Green SM online taxi who collided with the Cikarang Line electric rail train in Bekasi will be examined again the day after tomorrow, on Thursday (7/5/2026).

The Head of Public Relations of Metro Jaya Regional Police, Senior Commissioner Pol Budi Hermanto, stated that this examination will also involve the Indonesian National Police Forensic Laboratory Centre.

However, Budi has not yet informed where the driver with initials RRP will be examined.

Previously, the driver has been examined several times at the Bekasi City Police Resort.

This includes the machinists from the three trains involved.

Next, the police will still examine a number of other witnesses.

“Further follow-up, we will send a second letter and a request to present witnesses to the Directorate General of Railways,” Budi said.
