Green SM speaks out regarding accident at railway crossing area
Jakarta (ANTARA) - Green SM Indonesia, an electric taxi company, has issued a statement following an accident involving one of its vehicles and a passing train at a railway crossing near Bekasi Timur Station on Monday (27/4) night. In a written statement shared on the company’s official Instagram account @id.greensm on Tuesday, Green SM Indonesia stated that it has provided relevant information to the authorities regarding the accident incident. “We have provided relevant information to the authorities and fully support the ongoing investigation process,” said the Vietnamese-origin electric taxi company. The company emphasised its commitment to implementing safety standards to ensure the safety of service users and the general public. “Safety remains our top priority. We are committed to maintaining high safety standards through operational systems, supervision, and continuous service improvements,” said the company. In the accident incident, the Argo Bromo train collided with a stationary KRL Commuter Line train at Bekasi Timur Station after a taxi obstructed the KRL at the railway crossing near Bulak Kapal, according to the spokesperson of PT Kereta Api Indonesia’s Daop I Jakarta.
