Green SM Indonesia and BCA Sign Rp600 Billion Five-Year Investment Loan Agreement
JAKARTA, INDONESIA – Media OutReach Newswire – Green SM Indonesia and Bank Central Asia (BCA) today announced the signing of a five-year investment loan agreement valued at Rp600 billion, marking the formalisation of a long-term financial partnership between the two parties.
This agreement signifies the next phase of collaboration between Green SM Indonesia and BCA, reflecting a shared commitment to supporting the development of sustainable and well-managed business in Indonesia’s urban mobility sector.
The investment loan facility is intended to support Green SM Indonesia’s operational readiness and service sustainability. It provides a stable financial structure to underpin a disciplined growth approach and ensure service consistency across existing urban operations.
This signing continues the previous cooperation between the two parties, which began with the launch of Green SM’s market in Jakarta in December 2024. Since then, BCA and Green SM Indonesia have collaborated on customer-focused programmes and initiatives to enhance service accessibility and raise awareness of eco-friendly transportation solutions. The transition from collaborative activities to a formal financing agreement reflects the maturity of this partnership and BCA’s support for Green SM Indonesia’s operational model and governance standards.
This collaboration also reflects BCA’s broader role in supporting businesses adapting to urban development needs, including the shift towards more efficient and futuristic mobility solutions.
Representing BCA, Mr Denny Haryanto, SVP Corporate Banking BCA, said: “This agreement reflects our approach to supporting businesses with a long-term perspective. Sustainable transportation is increasingly vital for urban development in Indonesia. Through this partnership, we are backing initiatives aligned with long-term economic resilience and environmental responsibility.”
Mr Deny Tjia, Managing Director of Green SM Indonesia, stated that this agreement reflects the trust built through consistent collaboration and shared values. “This investment loan agreement is an acknowledgement of the disciplined operational model and long-term development orientation that Green SM Indonesia has pursued from its early stages. This facility further strengthens the company’s financial foundation, supporting stable and consistent services across the cities where we operate.”
Since commencing operations, Green SM Indonesia has been present in several major urban centres, including Jakarta, Makassar, Bekasi, Surabaya, and Bali. These cities face increasingly complex urban mobility needs alongside rising expectations for clean and responsible transportation solutions. In the Indonesian market, Green SM provides all-electric taxi services that support routine urban journeys while reducing emissions and noise. The company’s operational approach emphasises reliability, professional service standards, and scalability aligned with city-level transportation planning.
Through this agreement, Green SM Indonesia and BCA reaffirm their shared view that the transition to sustainable urban mobility requires not only electric vehicle technology but also robust financial structures, responsible governance, and long-term commitment. This investment loan agreement is a practical step to support that transition in Indonesia’s evolving mobility landscape.
