Green SM Company Still Investigating Accident at Bekasi Timur Station
Electric taxi company Green SM Indonesia has once again issued an official statement regarding the train accident incident at Bekasi Timur Station on Monday, 27 April 2026. As is known, there have been widespread reports that the collision between the KA Argo Bromo Anggrek and the Cikarang line KRL was triggered by a green electric taxi that was first involved in an accident at the crossing.
In their second official statement released on Tuesday afternoon, 28 April 2026, the company conveyed deep condolences and sympathies to the families and loved ones of the train accident victims at Bekasi Timur Station.
“We convey our deepest condolences and sympathies to the families and close ones of the victims. We are paying close attention to this incident and hope that all involved parties recover quickly and are in a safe condition,” stated their official remarks, quoted from their official Instagram account on Tuesday, 28 April 2026.
It was also explained that the train accident incident is currently still under investigation and no conclusions have been reached. The company will continue to coordinate with relevant authorities and support the investigation process.

Update: Death Toll Rises to 15 People Until Tuesday Afternoon
Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) provided an update on the data regarding the fatal collision between the KRL and the Argo Bromo train at Bekasi Timur Station on Monday night, 27 April 2026.
He revealed that the total number of fatalities has reached 15 people. Meanwhile, 88 other victims are still receiving treatment in hospitals.
“Update as of 1 p.m. earlier, there are 15 people who have passed away and 88 people are still being treated. Including three who were previously trapped, we have evaluated and they are still under hospital care,” said AHY to reporters after inspecting Bekasi Timur Station on Tuesday, 28 April 2026.
