The 13th Gaikindo Auto Expo offers something different to remain
consistent with the Association of Indonesian Automotive
Manufacturer's (Gaikindo) theme of environmentally friendly
automotive technology. Several carmakers have put on display
their innovations that use alternative energy during the 10-day
event, while others launched new products for the domestic
market. The organizers expect about 200,000 visitors will flock
the Jakarta Convention Center venue while transactions are
expected to reach Rp 1 trillion (US$102.15 million).
