The problem of stone-throwing school children has spread to
the Manggarai-Lenteng Agung stretch of the Greater Jakarta train
system.

It takes place nearly every afternoon. A group of school
children on the train wage a war of stones with another group on
the ground, apparently oblivious to other passengers, including
mothers with babies and small children. The other day a passenger
was struck on the temple by a stone and had to get off the train
at the next station for medical treatment.

Perumka (the state railway company) or related agencies should
act immediately, posting security guards at railway stations
which are the scene of such irresponsible acts.
