Golden Rama Tours & Travel has launched its annual GREAT SALE event from 13th to 15th February 2026 simultaneously in five major cities, namely Jakarta, Bandung, Surabaya, Makassar, and Denpasar. This program is held in response to the increasing trend of early bookings for the 2026 Eid and mid-year periods, as well as being a company strategy to accelerate sales in the first quarter.

In this year’s event, which carries the theme “The More, the Better”, GREAT SALE 2026 offers discounts on tours of up to 10% + 55%, cruise discounts of up to IDR 10 million, and hotel discounts of up to IDR 800 thousand, in collaboration with 39 tourism partners ranging from airlines, cruise ships to tourism agencies from abroad.

Golden Rama has also partnered with banking partners to strengthen consumer purchasing power through a 0% installment scheme for up to 12 months, cashback, and direct discounts for BCA cardholders. This scheme is considered an important factor in maintaining transaction momentum in the face of a society that is increasingly selective in allocating leisure spending.

Coinciding with the Valentine’s Day period, GREAT SALE 2026 also presents special treats for customers as a form of appreciation, while also inviting consumers to make travel part of a moment of sharing with loved ones. Golden Rama encourages couples and families to start planning for spring and summer holidays, periods that have historically been popular for seasonal destinations such as cherry blossoms, European spring, and mid-year school holidays.

General Manager of Communications & CRM at Golden Rama Tours & Travel, Ricky Hilton, stated that international travel trends have shown an increasingly solid recovery since last year, with high interest in destinations in East Asia and Europe. According to him, the February period is a crucial momentum because consumers start securing schedules and prices before entering the peak season.

“In the last two years, we have seen a change in consumer behaviour that is increasingly strategic in planning travel. They tend to book earlier to avoid rising ticket and accommodation prices. With the Valentine’s momentum, we want to invite customers to see travel not only as a vacation, but also as a meaningful experience shared with loved ones. GREAT SALE is a catalyst to encourage faster purchasing decisions while also optimising revenue in the first quarter,” said Ricky.

Golden Rama noted that destinations such as Korea, Japan, China, and Europe still dominate market interest, especially for the Eid period. The package prices offered during GREAT SALE start from around IDR 6 million for Asia and IDR 30 million for Europe, which are claimed to be more competitive compared to regular prices approaching the holiday season.

The simultaneous implementation of GREAT SALE in five cities is also part of a strategy to expand regional market penetration, given that contributions from outside Jakarta to sales continue to show growth. By presenting offline events in strategic shopping centres, Golden Rama is targeting increased traffic as well as direct transaction conversions during the three-day event.

Through GREAT SALE 2026, Golden Rama not only targets an increase in sales volume, but also strengthens its position as a premium travel curator that is able to offer added value through a combination of competitive prices, payment flexibility, and guaranteed integrated services. The company is optimistic that the momentum at the beginning of this year will be the foundation for performance growth throughout 2026, along with the improving sentiment of Indonesian travellers.
