Gratitude

With this letter I would like to pass on a message of
appreciation from Ms. Susan Davies, the Acting Country Program
Director, Indonesia Bilateral Program of the Canadian
International Development Agency (CIDA).

Ms. Susan Davies would like to express her sincere thanks and
appreciation to Mr. Alpera Jaya Ridwan of the Angkasa Pura II,
Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, who located her briefcase
at the Airport on Jan. 31, 1995. Mr. Alpera's honesty and
thoughtfulness is an example to all and, for Ms. Davies as a
Canadian citizen, a true sign of the generosity and kindness of
the Indonesian people.

Ms. Davies is very thankful for the time and effort that this
kind person took to ensure that her briefcase was brought safely
to the offices of the Canadian Embassy in Jakarta. This is an
extraordinary gesture of consideration that Ms. Davies will
always remember.
