Grady wins pro-am title
JAKARTA (JP): Last year's Tugu Pratama PGA champion Wayne Grady of Australia made up for his loss in the professional event by winning the individual pro-am event on Sunday.
Playing on 18 holes at Bumi Serpong Damai golf course, Tangerang, near here, Grady was tied at 4 under par 68 with Stephen Lindskoq of Sweden and Felix Casas of the Philippines.
The win earned Grady US$1,500, with Lindskoq and Casas pocketing $750 and $600 respectively. Indonesia's Asep Capri shared the fourth palace with Cai Chung Hui of China.
Indonesia's Kajum, Hendri S., Denny S., and A. Farid collected 52 points to win the pro-amateur team event. Compatriots Asep, Ongko, Karen and Ranny Singh closely trailed with 53 to finish second. The mixed nationality team of P. Veramuthu of Malaysia and Indonesia's Efendi, Wandi Wanto and Sumartono also carded 53, but had to be content with the third spot. (amd)
