The ongoing digital transformation continues to reshape the industry’s demand for human resources. Companies now look not only for graduates with strong academic credentials but also for individuals who possess digital skills, creativity, and the ability to adapt to rapid technological change.

This condition pushes higher education institutions to provide learning systems that are relevant to the needs of today’s industry. The Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) at Universitas Nusa Mandiri (UNM), as a Digital Business Campus, continues to prepare students to compete in the digital era through an adaptive, practice-based learning approach.

That commitment is reflected in the success of the graduate of the Bachelor’s in Digital Business programme at FEB UNM, Saripah Nabilah, who is now flourishing in a role as Digital Marketing Specialist at BATAS. The career of Saripah demonstrates that industry demand for digital talent continues to rise. Skills in digital marketing, content strategy, branding, and digital market analysis are now competencies widely sought by companies across sectors.

Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business at UNM, Ida Zuniarti, said that alumni success provides motivation for the campus to continue delivering learning aligned with industry needs.

“We want students to have competencies that are not only strong theoretically but also applicable in the world of work. The development of the digital industry today requires human resources who are creative, adaptable, and possess strong technological capabilities,” Ida said in a press release received on Friday, 22 May 2026.

She stated that the Digital Business Programme at FEB UNM is designed to equip students with skills relevant to the developments in business and the digital industry.

“Students not only learn business concepts but also understand digital marketing practices, technology-based business management, and how to build business strategies in the digital era. The aim is that graduates will be able to compete and have broad career flexibility,” Ida said.

In addition to classroom learning, FEB UNM also encourages students to actively develop practical experience through projects, portfolios, and involvement in activities that support the enhancement of students’ digital competencies.

“Furthermore, UNM presents flagship programmes supporting career readiness, namely Internship Experience Programme (IEP) 3+1. The programme gives students the opportunity to undertake three years of study on campus and one year of direct experience off campus through internships, industry projects, or research. Through this programme, students have greater opportunities to understand industry needs early and build professional experience before graduation,” Ida said.

She emphasised that alumni success in entering the professional world is one of the important indicators that higher education must continually adapt to changing times. Amid the growing demand for digitally based labour, graduates with relevant skills will have increasing career opportunities.

“Through an innovative learning approach aligned with industry needs, FEB Universitas Nusa Mandiri remains committed to producing digital talents who can make a real contribution in the workplace and in the digital creative industry,” Ida said.

As a Digital Business Campus with the tagline ‘Turn Dreams Into Achievements’, Universitas Nusa Mandiri continues to provide education that is relevant, modern, and oriented towards the future careers of Indonesia’s younger generation.
