Secretary of the Board of Trustees of the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) Grace Natalie Louisa has spoken out regarding the police report that has implicated her name. In particular, the party under which she operates has not provided her with legal assistance.

She stated that the party’s decision not to provide legal assistance was a personal request from her. This is because the case affecting her has no connection to the party with the elephant logo.

“The first point is to address or respond to the news that friends asked about last week, when there was a statement from Daily Chairman Ahmad Ali. So, I want to convey that his statement was based on my request as a party founder,” said Grace in the Menteng area, Central Jakarta, on Monday (11/5/2026).

She stated that her statement uploaded through her social media account was an opinion as an ordinary citizen. That statement was not made as the party’s position. Therefore, she does not want her personal affairs to be linked to PSI.

“Therefore, as the party founder, I instructed the Daily Chairman, in this case Bang Ahmad Ali, not to involve the party,” said the former special staff to President Joko Widodo (Jokowi).

Grace admitted to receiving many questions from the public regarding PSI’s stance. Moreover, many interpreted the party’s stance as conveyed through PSI Daily Chairman Ahmad Ali as something negative.

“In fact, it was I who requested it, I who instructed the Daily Chairman because I indeed uploaded the material on my personal social media as a private citizen,” said Grace, accompanied by PSI functionary and Deputy Minister of Population Ratu Ayu Isyana Bagus Oka.
