The Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) held a Special Regional Coordination Meeting (Rakorwilsus) on Friday (12/6/2026), ahead of Joko Widodo’s visit to the province in July 2026. PSI Deputy Chair of the Board of Trustees Grace Natalie stated that Joko Widodo will soon wear the PSI jacket as Chairman of the Board of Trustees.

Grace explained that the Rakorwilsus aims to complete the party’s executive structure in all provinces, including NTT. Once this is finalised, she said, Jokowi will tour Indonesia wearing PSI attire.

“So PSI nationally in all provinces, the DPW, must complete the structure down to the village and sub-district level. Not only in NTT, this is happening simultaneously in other regions because next year we enter verification, and we are quickly finalising it so that the Chairman of the Board of Trustees can formally wear the PSI jacket and greet the public,” Grace stated during her visit to Kupang on Friday (12/6/2026).

She noted that preparations for the Rakorwilsus in NTT were already well advanced. “The preparations by our colleagues in NTT have been very good. Just a little remains, but we want it to be perfect so that when the Chairman of the Board of Trustees officially joins, everything is ready and the party machinery can start running immediately,” she added.

At the same venue, PSI NTT Regional Chairman Christian Widodo revealed that one of the meeting’s agendas was to prepare for Jokowi’s arrival. “This Rakorwilsus discusses, among other things, preparing for Mr Jokowi’s visit to NTT. When he comes, we must be ready. We cannot have him arrive when our structure is incomplete, so we must prepare everything ahead of his visit,” Christian told reporters.

“So Ms Grace has come to NTT for the umpteenth time, with the main event being the Special Regional Coordination Meeting, which concerns the core strategy for winning. This includes forming DPD, DPC, down to the branch level in regencies and cities,” concluded Christian, who also serves as Mayor of Kupang.
