Grace Natalie Louisa, Secretary of the Board of Patrons of the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI), has opened the possibility of meeting the 10th and 12th Vice President, Jusuf Kalla, or JK. This was revealed by Grace to the media following a police report against her related to her upload responding to a clip from JK’s sermon video.

Grace claims she is ready to take responsibility for her social media upload. She also claims she is ready to hold a meeting with JK regarding her statements in the video response upload to JK’s sermon video. However, so far, she claims there has been no communication with JK.

“So far, there has been no communication from my side, (but) of course I am open to us discussing,” said Grace in Menteng, Central Jakarta, on Monday (11/5/2026).

She claims that she has not had any personal problems with JK all this time. Her statements on social media, said Grace, did not intend to attack JK personally.

“I also never had any problems like that with Mr JK as an individual. My statements were also just normal,” Grace claims.

Therefore, she claims she is ready if JK wants to ask for an explanation regarding her statements. Including, if there is an opportunity to meet JK.

“Therefore, I am ready if asked for an explanation, for example, or maybe Mr JK wants to ask ‘What is the context?’,” she said.

She added that the police report that implicated her was not directly carried out by JK. Therefore, she assesses that JK also does not have personal problems with her.

Nevertheless, Grace claims she does not close the door to meeting with JK. Moreover, she also stated that she has not met the national figure for a long time.

“So far, there is no (plan to meet), but if he is open, then let’s go. I never had any problems with Mr JK. It just so happens that it’s been quite a while since I last met him,” she said.

Previously, dozens of Islamic civil society organisations (ormas) under the Alliance of Islamic Civil Society Organisations for Interfaith Harmony reported Grace Natalie to the National Police Criminal Investigation Agency. Grace is considered to have incited and spread hate speech through her upload that clipped Jusuf Kalla’s or JK’s sermon video.
