Grace Natalie: National Figures Will Continue to Join PSI
JAKARTA - Deputy Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI), Grace Natalie, has revealed that PSI will continue to welcome national figures to strengthen its organisational structure in various regions.
“National figures will continue to join PSI to strengthen the management in various provinces,” said Grace when met on the sidelines of the PSI Central Executive Board-Regional Executive Board consolidation event at the Santika Premier Hotel, Slipi, West Jakarta, on Sunday (12/4/2026).
“So we will inform the media friends again about who will join,” she added.
The former journalist stated that the presence of national figures is part of the party’s strategy to strengthen the structure at the top level, which will then be balanced with strengthening networks down to the grassroots level.
Grace explained that PSI is currently implementing a “double track” strategy, namely strengthening management on both sides simultaneously, national elites and grassroots structures.
“This means the top level is strengthened with national figures who already have achievements, have a track record, and have leadership qualities. And this will certainly not be optimal if not supported by networks below,” she said.
“There are many, many and continuing to join, the problem is that the number keeps moving,” she added.
According to Grace, PSI is open to anyone who wants to join, including figures from different political backgrounds.
“PSI is a super open party where everyone is accepted, everyone is a shareholder. This party is not a family party, not a party of just a handful of people,” said Grace.
