Registration for the educational assistance programme for the 2026 academic year has officially opened for students across Indonesia. The programme covers various educational levels, ranging from Primary School (SD), Junior High School (SMP), Senior High School (SMA) or equivalent, up to the Undergraduate (S1) level.

This initiative is a result of a collaboration with BenimBaik.com and is supported by funding from the GrabForGood Fund. As part of its Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) commitment to growing alongside the community, the programme aims to alleviate financial hurdles for families and support more equitable access to education for the younger generation.

Based on internal Grab data, since 2022, this initiative has reached over 5,700 beneficiaries across various regions in Indonesia. The total educational assistance distributed has reached Rp25.8 billion, intended for the families of Driver Partners, Merchant Partners, as well as the general public.

Neneng Goenadi, Chief Executive Officer of Grab Indonesia, stated that education is a crucial investment for the future. Through GrabScholar 2026, the company seeks to open wider opportunities for students and university students from various backgrounds to obtain equal access to education.

“We believe that when the younger generation is given the opportunity to grow, they are not only able to improve their own quality of life, but also provide a positive impact on their families, communities, and the society around them,” said Neneng.

In its implementation, Grab is partnering with BenihBaik.com as the programme’s implementation partner to ensure that the distribution of assistance is well-targeted. The selection process is conducted in stages and transparently, involving teams from BenihBaik, Grab, and professional psychological partners.

Since its initial launch, the GrabScholar programme has attracted significant interest from the public, reflecting the high demand for access to quality educational assistance in Indonesia. Prospective applicants are expected to pay close attention to all administrative requirements and the established selection schedule to ensure a smooth registration process for the 2026 period.
