Grab Indonesia has announced it will alter the commission processing mechanism for its GrabBike Hemat service, effective 1 August 2026. Under the new system, the commission will be processed immediately for each completed trip, rather than the following day.

Chief Executive Officer of Grab Indonesia, Neneng Goenadi, stated that the adjustment only changes the processing time, while the calculation method, maximum commission cap, and Tariff Batas Bawah (TBB) provisions remain unchanged. “Grab has never deducted a commission of more than 8%, and trips with minimum fares or those not exceeding the TBB are not subject to commission,” she clarified.

Minister of Transport Dudy Purwagandhi expressed his appreciation for the move, noting that the change should provide greater clarity for driver-partners in understanding their income details and strengthen a healthy, sustainable partnership.
