Grab Launches GrabAcademy to Help Driver-Partners 'Level Up'
Grab Indonesia Chief Executive Officer Neneng Goenadi stated that for Grab, ‘levelling up’ means opening more choices for partners to learn, try new things, continue to grow, and have a source of income that aligns with their respective aspirations. “This is what we mean by unlimited opportunities. So, it presents more paths for partners to determine their future,” Neneng said during the launch of “GrabAcademy” in Jakarta on Tuesday. “We very much welcome this policy, because it can certainly expand access for our partners here, thus opening up much greater opportunities to develop capacity, strengthen businesses, and to level up towards the future,” she added. Neneng described GrabAcademy as a tangible manifestation and part of the third phase of Grab’s commitment to Indonesia. In this regard, Neneng noted that Grab’s investment this year exceeds Rp100 billion for the development and safety of all their partners. Going forward, Grab will continue to open collaborations with various parties such as the government, educational institutions, MSME communities, and other strategic partners to expand the benefits of GrabAcademy. “We want to be present not just as a platform, but we want our partners to have access to diverse sources of income, and to be part of their journey to grow together, level up together, and build Indonesia together,” Neneng concluded.
