Grab Disburses Hari Raya Bonus, 400,000 Ride-Hailing and Online Drivers Can Check Balance
Jakarta — Grab Indonesia has confirmed it has distributed 2026 Hari Raya Bonus (BHR) to hundreds of thousands of driver partners throughout Indonesia. The disbursement was completed on Monday, 9 March 2026, via OVO Cash as the primary distribution channel.
The company stated that more than 400,000 driver partners received the bonus this year. Grab has even doubled its budget allocation to approximately 100 billion to 110 billion rupiah.
“Grab Indonesia has completed the process of distributing the 2026 Hari Raya Bonus (BHR) on Monday, 9 March 2026, to more than 400,000 Driver Partners throughout Indonesia via OVO Cash as the primary distribution channel,” Grab Indonesia management stated in an official statement received by CNBC Indonesia on Wednesday (11/3/2026).
The amount of BHR received by partners varies, depending on their level of productivity and activity during the assessment period. For two-wheeled vehicle partners, the amounts received range from 150,000 to 850,000 rupiah. Meanwhile, four-wheeled vehicle partners receive between 200,000 to 1.6 million rupiah.
Grab affirmed that the BHR distribution also represents follow-up action from government directives concerning support for workers in the digital transportation sector.
Previously, the government announced that the total Hari Raya bonus (BHR) for ride-hailing drivers (ojol) reached 220 billion rupiah for Eidulfitri 2026. This BHR will be given to 850,000 drivers or ride-hailing partners.
The Minister of Manpower (Menaker) Yassierli revealed that the government has called on application platforms to pay the BHR as soon as possible.
“BHR is given no later than 7 days, urged to be faster,” he said at a press conference on Tuesday (3/3/2026).
He also disclosed that religious BHR must be given in the form of cash amounting to at least 25 per cent of average net income over the last 12 months. Thus, the amounts can vary.
