Grab Closes Affordable Access Subscription Programme for GrabBike Partners

Grab Indonesia announced the closure of the Affordable Access Subscription Programme for GrabBike two-wheeler driver partners in an official statement on Tuesday, 19 May 2026. The move is part of the company’s adjustments to safeguard the sustainability of the service ecosystem. CEO Neneng Goenadi said the closure follows the company’s assessment that further refinements to the programme’s implementation are necessary. “We deem that further refinements are required. The closure of this subscription programme is also intended to create a sustainable ecosystem for all stakeholders,” Neneng said in a press release received by Kompas.com on Tuesday evening. Grab has also confirmed that there has been no price increase for the GrabBike Standard service to date. Neneng emphasised that the welfare of driver partners remains a priority for the company amid the current dynamics of the digital transport industry. In addition, Grab says it will continue to coordinate with the government and stakeholders regarding the implementation of Presidential Regulation No. 27 of 2026 for two-wheeler driver partners to ensure smooth operation.
