GPCI says two Indonesian nationals abducted again by Israel from the Kasr-1 Sadabat ship

Update on Asad and Hendro: confirmation that the Kasr-1 Sadabat vessel was intercepted. A total of nine Indonesian nationals (WNI) have been abducted by Israel, according to GPCI Media Coordinator Harfin Naqsyabandy, speaking to reporters on Wednesday, 20 May 2026. Harfin explained that the two Indonesians are Asad Aras Muhammad, a Spirit of Aqso volunteer, and Hendro Prasetyo, a SMART 171 volunteer. Arfin said both are known to be detained by Israel. ‘Command centre monitoring from the GSF in Turkey,’ he added. Harfin stated that SOS messages from Hendro and Aras have been issued. Consequently, all Indonesians on the Sumud Flotilla 2026 humanitarian mission have been abducted. The following nine Indonesians are said to have been abducted by Israeli forces according to GPCI: 1. Herman Budianto Sudarsono (GPCI - Dompet Dhuafa) on the Zapyro ship; 2. Ronggo Wirasanu (GPCI - Dompet Dhuafa) on the Zapyro ship; 3. Andi Angga Prasadewa (GPCI - Rumah Zakat) on the Josef ship; 4. Asad Aras Muhammad (GPCI - Spirit of Aqso) on the Kasr-1 ship; 5. Hendro Prasetyo (GPCI - SMART 171) on the Kasr-1 ship; 6. Bambang Noroyono (REPUBLIKA) on the BoraLize ship; 7. Thoudy Badai Rifan Billah (REPUBLIKA) on the Ozgurluk ship; 8. Andre Prasetyo Nugroho (Tempo) on the Ozgurluk ship; 9. Rahendro Herubowo (GPCI and iNews media team) on the Ozgurluk ship.
