A total of nine Indonesian nationals (WNI) have been abducted by Israel, according to GPCI Media Coordinator Harfin Naqsyabandy, speaking to reporters on Wednesday, 20 May 2026. Harfin explained that the two Indonesians are Asad Aras Muhammad, a Spirit of Aqso volunteer, and Hendro Prasetyo, a SMART 171 volunteer. Arfin said both are known to be detained by Israel. ‘Command centre monitoring from the GSF in Turkey,’ he added. Harfin stated that SOS messages from Hendro and Aras have been issued. Consequently, all Indonesians on the Sumud Flotilla 2026 humanitarian mission have been abducted. The following nine Indonesians are said to have been abducted by Israeli forces according to GPCI: 1.
